Abstract:
cultural significances of cultural organization, family structure, and gender relations. Within the cultural context of the Diqing Tibetans, the architectural style and spatial layout of households profoundly embody traditional perceptions of the gender roles of family members, becoming key to understanding the construction of gender identities. This paper aims to explore how the design and utilization of household spaces in Diqing shape and reflect gender identities, as well as the cultural logic and social significance behind these spatial arrangements, providing new perspectives on gender roles and identity
perception.
